NERD ALERT

How cool is this!

Oops - girlfriend alert!

Well, if you are strange and read my posts in chronological order you would have seen the name 'Sharon' appear a number of times in my 'catch up post' (just below).
Well, Sharon and I are now going out after 9 months of courting (I'm not exactly good at the whole wooing thing).
Sharon is a Canadian Phd who edits a journal here at BMC. She has a brother and 3 sisters, one of whom is in London, though I haven't met her yet.
Hopefully Jo will send me the picture she took of us last night so I can post that here.

Sorry everyone - but Mum and Dad have kept be distracted

So here's a quick run down on events for the last few weeks, and then I'll put in a post or two that are touchy-feely instead of simply chronological.
6 Wednesday - blisters too big for Capoeira so I went to see a movie with a friend of mine called Sharon.
7 Thursday - some bombs went off somewhere or other, so I walked Sharon back to her sister's place in Bayswater
8 Friday - Mum and Dad are in Birmingham! Adam is playing in a concert with his performance school, so I head up early to see him (leaving all the boys back in the pub where they eventually get in trouble for not returning to work that afternoon....)
9 Saturday - With a hire car we headed up to Ludlow and was lucky enough to catch the Ludlow festival and an interesting Henry II
10 Sunday - picked up Grandma and took her to have lunch with Bill and the Riders. She was really excited and I think we all had a pretty good time. I got a lift back to London with Anthony and Auynur
11 Monday - work and Capoeira
12 Tuesday - work and no climbing cos the tubes got the better of us so we went to the pub.
13 Wednesday - Pilates and Capoeira. I also booked a physio appointment for my knee (note that my knee has not hurt since...)
14 Thursday - Went over to Sharon's for dinner
15 Friday - picked up Dad and went to see 'The Big Life'
16 Saturday - Dad and I went to see a most brilliant production of 'Death of a Salesman' and then I went to an 'Art of Converstation' Dinner with Sharon while Dad saw 'Emelia's Kitchen'. I then went to Jo's for a party
17 Sunday - Dad and I lazed a bit and then went to see 'Batman Begins'. I picked up Mum from the bus station before heading to my 'Birthday' Dinner where all my mates and I had a great time. (John and Anne, Jo, Mum and Dad, Sharon, Matt and Jenny, Liam and Monica)

Graeme Garden's son plays keyboards in the Scissor Sisters!

oh, and I wasn't anywhere near the bombs in London (when I say 'any where near', I work about 4 blocks away, but went to work too early to be affected at all)
Anyway, wish that I could find some copies of 'You'll have had your tea'
